1. Who we are

2. Scope

These terms apply to all orders placed by consumers at hoopet.eu, from any of the countries we deliver to. The version in force when you place your order applies to it.

3. Products

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Photos are representative and colours may look slightly different depending on your screen.

The HooPet Tag is not a GPS tracker. It is a Bluetooth tag that you can locate with a finder app on your smartphone: Find My on iPhone or Find Hub on Android, as described on the product page. It connects to one phone at a time. Its location updates when a compatible phone from the corresponding network passes nearby, so it is not live and may not update far from people. It helps you find your pet but cannot guarantee that a lost animal will be found, and it does not replace supervision, an ID tag or a microchip. Apple, iPhone and Find My are trademarks of Apple Inc.; Android and Find Hub are trademarks of Google LLC. HooPet is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple or Google.

The HooPet Tag contains a button battery: keep it away from children. Do not throw the tag away with household waste; take it to a collection point for electrical equipment. Please supervise your pet when it plays with toys or wears accessories.

4. How the contract is made

The products on our website are not a binding offer. You place a binding order by completing checkout and clicking the button to pay. Before that, you can review your order and correct any input errors. We then send you an order confirmation by email, which concludes the contract. If we cannot accept your order, for example because a product is unavailable, we tell you and refund any payment straight away.

The contract can be concluded in English, German, Dutch, French or Spanish. You receive the details of your order by email, and these terms are always available on our website.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros or, depending on your country, in your local currency; the amount you pay is the one shown at checkout. Prices for EU countries include VAT. For deliveries outside the EU, import duties and taxes may apply on delivery (see our shipping policy). Delivery costs are added as shown at checkout. You can pay with the methods shown at checkout, such as credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay. Payment is taken when you place your order.

Promotions apply under the conditions and dates shown with each promotion. Discount codes cannot be combined unless stated otherwise.

6. Delivery

Delivery countries, costs and times are described in our shipping policy. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person indicated by you, receive the products.

7. Retention of title

The products remain our property until they have been paid in full.

8. Money-back guarantee and right of withdrawal

You have our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee and, in addition, a right of withdrawal of 14 days. All details, including the model withdrawal form, are on our returns page.

9. Legal guarantee

Under Spanish law you have a legal guarantee of conformity of three years from delivery, without prejudice to any more favourable mandatory rights in your country of residence. If a product is defective, contact us and we will put it right as described on our returns page.

10. Liability

We are liable in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

11. Personal data

We process your personal data as described in our privacy policy.

12. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. As a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence. If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first and we will do our best to solve it. We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
