Product safety and information
Not a GPS tracker. The location updates only when a phone on the Find My or Find Hub network passes nearby. Don’t rely on it as the only way to keep your pet safe.
Button battery. Keep new and used batteries away from children. Swallowing a button battery can cause severe or fatal injuries within two hours. If you think a battery may have been swallowed, get medical help immediately. Recycle used batteries at a collection point.
Collars. Check the fit regularly: two fingers should slide under the collar. Don’t leave a collar on a pet that is tied up or unsupervised in a crate. The tag and collar are not toys.
Disposal. Don’t throw the tag away with household waste. Take it to a collection point for electrical equipment.

Is the HooPet Tag a GPS tracker?
No, and we’d rather say it plainly. It is a Bluetooth tag. Its location updates when a phone on the Find My or Find Hub network passes nearby, which happens often in towns, parks and neighbourhoods. Far from people, it may not update. There is no live tracking, and no subscription.
Which phones does it work with?
An iPhone with a recent version of iOS, using the Find My app, or an Android phone (Android 9 or later) with Google services, using Find Hub. It connects to one phone at a time. To move it to another phone, remove it from the first one and pair it again.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. You pay once for the tag and the collar. There is no SIM card and no plan.
How do I change the battery?
The tag runs on a replaceable button battery. Open the tag, swap the battery and close it again. Keep button batteries away from children: swallowing one can cause severe injuries.
Which collar size should I choose?
Measure your dog’s neck and add two fingers. Size M fits 35–50 cm and size L fits 40–60 cm. The cat collar is one adjustable size.
Why does the cat collar have a safety buckle?
Cats climb and squeeze through gaps. The safety buckle opens under pressure, so the collar comes off if it gets caught.
Can I use the collar with a tag I already have?
Yes, if it is a round tag of about 32 mm. The holders are made for that size.
Can my dog swim with it?
It is made for everyday walks, rain and puddles included. Take the collar off before swimming or bathing.
When will my order arrive?
Within 7–12 working days. Your order ships from our partner’s warehouse in Asia, and we email you the tracking number as soon as it is on its way.
Will the advent calendar arrive before 1 December?
Order before the date shown on the calendar and it arrives in time. Later orders are still sent, but may arrive after the countdown has started.
